A candid, exclusive interview on Film Music Radio with A-list film composer James Horner has been listened to over 4,700 times in the first 24 hours since it was posted, it was reported Tuesday. The interview of Horner by Film Music Radio’s Daniel Schweiger on “On The Score” features Horner in a no-holds-barred interview in which he discusses his controversial replacement of the score to “Troy,” the fight to keep original music in “The New World,” and includes Horner’s personal viewpoints on a variety of films, directors, other composers and more.

“We’re excited that James Horner chose Film Music Radio for this exclusive, candid interview,” said Film Music Radio President Mark Northam. “James is a very passionate composer who feels very strongly about the quality of music in film and how filmmakers can best utilize music in films, and he pulls no punches. It’s an enlightening, refreshing look at the world of music for film from a composer at the top of the business who has seen it all.”
