“Hurricane Season” To Be Scored by Mark Mancina

Mark Mancina has been hired to write the original music for Hurricane Season, Dimension Films’ basketball drama taking place in Louisiana one year after Hurricane Katrina. Tim Story (who directed the two Fantastic Four films) helms the film, which is going to be distributed by M-G-M beginning in March next year. The cast includes rap artist Bow Wow, Forest Whitaker and Isaiah Washington. Mark Mancina, who is best known for his action scores (Con Air, Twister, Speed) also has the scores for Nowhereland and Like Dandelion Dust on his list of upcoming films.
