Alexander University Launches 3 Classes For Late Summer

For the second half of Summer 2009, Alexander University has launched three new classes.

The Instant Composer: Counterpoint by Fux is taught by award winning composer William Hooper. In this seven week course, students learn the basics of two-voice writing and how to create effective melodies, background lines, counterlines and bass lines.

Stephen Hill starts a second summer class with Professional Orchestration: Writing For Woodwinds where students write a 2-minute composition approximately every 10 days for solo instrument: flute, oboe, clarinet and bassoon.

Peter Alexander continues with a new round for Marketing You Music and You which has been expanded from the original four lessons to eight.
