For the first time, the Bollywood film industry has recorded a big orchestral film score in Europé. Supervised by James Fitzpatrick of Tadlow Music, the orchestral sessions for the big budget film ”Mehbooba” took place in Prague, utilising 90 musicians. The score, composed by Ismail Darbar and Jaikishen Vanjari, also makes use of a 100 voice choir. Nic Raine orchestrated and conducted the score. The film will premiere in India in December. Other scores recently recorded in Prague includes Andrew Skeet’s ”Gumball 3000” and Laurent Boutonnat’s ”Jacquo le croquant”.
