Michael Giacchino Wins Golden Globe For “Up” Score

Michael Giacchino has won the Golden Globe award for Best Original Score for a Motion Picture for his widely acclaimed score for the film “Up”.

Also nominated for the Golden Globe Best Score award were Marvin Hamlisch for “The Informant!,” James Horner for “Avatar,” Abel Korzeniowski for “A Single Man,” and Karen O and Carter Burwell for “Where The Wild Things Are”

Giacchino also was awarded the Critics Choice Award for his score to “Up”.
