Danish composer Anthony Lledo won the ”Best Score” award for his orchestral score for the Swedish vampire horror hit ”Frostbite” at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival in Los Angeles, the largest horror film festival in the USA. The large gothic score, which like the film itself is paying a warm homage to the genre, was recorded in Bratislava, conducted by industry veteran Allan Wilson. The film, directed by Anders Banke, also won the Screamfest awards for best special effects and makeup. Earlier, ”Frostbite” won the ”Best Film” at the Fantasporto festival in Portugal.
