AIMP Features Brabecs, Ned Hearn at New Media Music Licensing Event May 20

The Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) has announced its May event, “New Music Licensing Deals – What They Mean To: Publishers, Writers, Artists, Labels and Collection Societies” to be held on May 20 at The House of Blues in Los Angeles.

The panel will feature Jeff Brabec, VP Business Affairs of Chrysalis Music Group; Todd Brabec, Former ASCAP Executive VP; and Ned Hearn, Internet / Multi-Media Entertainment Attorney and will cover:

* How rates are being set and by whom
* How licenses are negotiated and structured
* How much money is being made
* How foreign countries handle these areas
* How the online world is changing the “traditional” world of music licensing.

Following the panel the Brabecs will be on hand to sign copies of the latest release of their book, Music Money And Success. The book will be offered at a discounted price to attendees.
