Horowitz scores Annakin’s ‘Genghis Khan’

Richard Horowitz has been engaged to compose the original score for a very special film: Ken Annakin’s Genghis Khan. This was made by the British director, who is best know for The Longest Day, in the early 90s but it was never released due to financial problems with the Italian production company. Today, Annakin is 92 years old but he is still active and is now working on finally completing Genghis Khan. Richard Horowitz, whose previous scores include Any Given Sunday, Three Seasons and David & Layla, plans to do an orchestral score incorporating Mongolian folk music elements.
