NARIP Presents “How to Market & License Music for Film & TV” in NY Oct 14

The National Association of Recording Industry Professionals will present “How To Market & License Music For Film & TV” in New York at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law on October 14, 2010. The event is presented in association with SELSA, the Sports & Entertainment Law Student Association.

The event will discuss aspects of licensing music in film and television including the right time to make a deal, terms, options, fee ranges, deliverables, clearances, things to avoid, closing the deal and more. A sample license agreement will be distributed at the event.

NARIP just had a similar panel held in L.A. on Sept. 22 and it was great. The music supervisors gave out a lot of current and helpful information, and it was worth taking the time to attend.
