Hans Zimmer will attend the Soncinemad Film Music Festival in Madrid on June 30-July 2. The German composer, who has been one of the most influential film composers in Hollywood ever since he got his big break with Rain Man in 1988, will be opening the Harry Gregson-Williams concert (Gregson-Williams used to be a member of Zimmer’s scoring team, conducting scores such as The Peacemaker and The Fan) and take part in various festival activities. The Soncinemad festival will also feature a concert with Trevor Jones and a number of seminars and master classes.
