Geoff Zanelli goes into ‘Disturbia’

Geoff Zanelli, a composer who has been involved in many of Hans Zimmer’s scores, has been hired to compose the music for director D.J. Caruso’s new thriller Disturbia, starring David Morse, Carrie-Anne Moss and Shia LaBeouf. It tells the story about a troubled teenager who is convinced his neighbor is a serial killer. Script is written by Christopher Landon and Carl Ellsworth (Red Eye) and the film is scheduled to premiere on September 13. Geoff Zanelli is currently assisting Hans Zimmer on the score for Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man’s Chest. His previous credits as a solo composer include Dreamworks’ TV series Into the West, House of D and the upcoming animated adventure Delgo.
